Hi! My name is Trish and I am happy you have found my blog, which is about getting out of the rut of bad, negative thinking and moving into good, positive, more healthy thinking.
Because that is what I have been doing. I have read many books and have listened to many audio recordings. They are ALL beneficial and they ALL have a point!
I have realised and learned that we all need some assistance in life. We all have “stuff” to deal with, which can make us feel overwhelmed, helpless, afraid and anxious.
So in order to get a “helping hand”, we need to start, somewhere, anywhere. Usually, if you stop panicking, take a breath and pause for a while, eventually, you’ll find you are “drawn” to something, which will be your first step on your journey of feeling better. one step is all it takes, which will then lead you onwards.
It could be anything, a book, a tape, a piece of music, a saying, a poster for a class, SOMETHING will catch your eye, SOMETHING will attract your attention, start there, then see where it leads.
This is what I did and you can calmly, change your life for the better, by changing yourself! Anything that takes your mind away from focusing on what is bad in your life, to seeing what is right, no matter how small or how trivial.
